Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

MUST DO

  • Responsible for executing and supporting Accounts Payable processes and systems with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner using the appropriate expense accounts and project codes
  • Submit and verify credit card expense coding and assist with weekly imports into the Accounting System
  • Prepare and verify journal entries related to A/P functions (recurring entries, accruals, etc.)
  • Initiate and verify wire transfers, ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Upload checks via the MidFirst Positive Pay program
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files, ensuring compliance with applicable Oklahoma vendor and contract laws
  • Assist with workflows and user training in Ramp, including troubleshooting issues and providing process support
  • Maintain and update contract and insurance policy tracking spreadsheets to support the annual audit
  • Support monthly and year-end closing activities and assist with audit preparations, including A/P selection and documentation requests
  • Respond to inquiries related to Accounts Payable and general accounting processes
  • Support capital/construction project accounting and fixed asset tracking in collaboration with other departments
  • Set up and maintain vendor profiles in all accounting systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
  • Knowledge of vendor compliance and contract documentation standards
  • Experience using Ramp, Bill.com, or similar bill payment systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, change-driven environment

 

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
