Uncommon is a youth conference specifically designed for students in 6th-12th Grade. In 2019, it was born out of a hope to stir up a desire in the students of Church on the Move to be just that: Uncommon.
Our heart for Uncommon 2025 comes from 2 Timothy 2, where Paul encourages Timothy to live set apart. We want to see our students embrace a life wholly devoted to God, filled with joy, purpose, and steadfastness.

Pastors Greg and Polly Scott have been a vital part of Church on the Move for more than 20 years. They moved to Tulsa from Kentucky in 2003 and now serve as the executive pastors over Next Generation students and young adults, as well as serve on the board of Lincoln Christian School. They have a heart to see this next generation passionately pursue Jesus and take next steps toward discipleship, so they can live out the purpose God has called them to.
Tanner is the Next Generation Pastor at Celebration Church in Austin, TX, focused on empowering young people to connect with Christ, the local church, and their callings. As the pioneer and leader of WAVE Students and WAVE Student Conference, he believes this generation will be “The Wave” that God uses to reach the world. Tanner loves sharing the gospel in engaging ways that inspire and challenge people in their personal lives with God.
Pastor Ethan serves as the Broken Arrow Senior Pastor at Church on the Move. He is passionate about making church feel like home, and people feel like family. He is constantly working to include as many new people as possible in this growing family called the church. Ethan is a gifted communicator, teaching in a creative and humorous style that will make you laugh hard and, hopefully, think even harder. He loves helping people find grace inspired ways to apply truth in everyday life.
Gabe George is an itinerant pastor traveling the U.S. to preach a gospel message that equips and inspires the body of Christ. With over 25 years of ministry experience—including roles as a campus pastor, church planter, and ministry resource leader—he has passionately invested in building spiritually vibrant communities and developing leaders. He also serves as Host Pastor at Rocker W Ranch, creating refreshing retreats for pastors alongside his father, Pastor Willie George..
